Stamptacular Sunday Challenge - Back In Time

This week at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge we are asking for a card or project that is like stepping back in time. For my project I did a vintage cone. I used to have Easter parties when I was a little girl, and Mom always took old vintage wrapping paper and made them into cones. She added lace at the top, and a ribbon handle and then we all got one and started searching for eggs outside. I had an Easter party for years. I have to say I was stumped with this challenge and then my best friend Chris said what about a vintage cone. That's when I remembered Mom doing them for me. So that was my pick for my project. For mine I used some left over paper that I had and laid a dinner plate over it. I traced the plate, and then cut out the half circle. I shaped it into a cone and glued it down. I added Vintage lace and ribbon around the rim and added flowers to the rim. I used some of my Paper Trey ribbon for the handle. I colored one of my new club CC Design stamps. She was so perfect with her little Easter basket. I glittered the eggs. I colored her with my copics. Sorry, forgot to take a picture of the copics I used. I threw my little one's name on the basket as she seems to want all the projects that I make. Glad they get used.
Our prize this week is from our very own SARAH: This is what Sarah is offering for a prize this week:
A beautiful stamp set from Verve stamp set. Try your hands at something vintage, something that reminds you of something old or an old memory, and get an opportunity at this fabulous set.
