Friday Sketchers #91

For the Friday Sketchers challenge this week they had the following sketch to follow:

For my card I used one of my new stamps from The Greeting Farm called Hope and Grace. Not sure if she's Hope or Grace, but she's darling just the same. I had just purchased this paper from Pointer's a fabulous store for paper as it had just been delivered. My greatest scrapbooking buddy Christine and I tore into the box and found this fabulous paper line from Jilli Bean. I added some Eyelets and threaded some gingham ribbon through it. My image was colored with my copics, and I apologize but I didn't have time to take the picture of my copics. I'm busy packing as my daughter and I are on our way to the Caribbian tomorrow for a 7 day cruise for her 19th birthday. I'll post the card I made for her on her birthday, Thursday. The Greeting Farm - Edward and STAMPTACULAR SUNDAY'S BONUS FUN HOP

If you are on your way through the fun hop, his is my favorite stamp and a card I made with her. I have loved Magnolia stamps since I found them earlier this year. I found this little one first, she's called Tilda on Prominade. She is an older Magnolia, but she reminded me of my 18 year old daughter, Sarah. Sarah used to love dresses. Well recently the concord flew to Canada from Cute Stamps and Cards in the Netherlands with an order for myself and my special friend Christine from Dol Creations. My friend Christine said I know it will come in on your way to your scrapbook retreat and you won't call to let me know they came it. Well she was right. I had packed for a weekend retreat only to work on my scrapbooks. When checking the mail and seeing our little package, I returned home and grabbed a bag with my card making supplies in it. I kidnapped it and took it to Collingwood, where I continued to make 2 cards to surprise Christine. Here's the first. I love this Greeting Farm image. I am deeply engrossed in the Twillight series, and mad passionately in love with Edward the vampire. I died when I saw this stamp and the resemblence he has to Edward. Then I see his name is Edward, and he was a must have. I dear friend who is celebrating her 30th birthday today was with me at the retreat. I found out she also loved Edward, so I sneekily made a card for her birthday. I embossed with 2 Cuttlebug folders, the birthday on the top, and swiss dots on the bottom. I added some Denim ribbon from Close to My Heart and there it was, my first Edward card. I colored him with my Derwents and Mineral Spirits. Isn't he to die for. Well Happy 30 Jenn, I'm really glad you loved the card. I hope you have a smashing day.
