Just Magnolia Challenge #24 - Color Combo/Magnolia Down Under Challenge #23 - Buttons

Well finally a card. I think everyone is slowing down a touch. My blog list just doesn't seem to get updated too quickly, so I don't feel too bad about being slow myself. This is my entry to Just Magnolia's challenge this week which is a color combo, pink, grey and optional black. I decided to make my little Tilda sitting on a button jar instead of a jam jar. This enabled me to be able to enter her into the Magnolia Down Under Challenge which is buttons. I used some Nicole Heady ribbon and a charm given to me as a gift from Cute Stamps and Cards Jacqueline. Hope you have a great day.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge #71 - Let's Get Fruity

This is my entry this week for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge which is supposed to be as fruity as possible. I used my He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not Tilda from the summer collection. I have her sitting on top of her big strawberry. I embellished with strawberry brads that matched the paper I chose. I added glitter wherever I could because what's a card without glitter. Enjoy!

Magnolia Challenge Week #9

This one was a fun challenge. It was with paper piecing. I had a bit of trouble finding the right image for this one, but I think she'll do. I used Bo Bunny Black Polka Dot Paper for the dress and bow, and balanced it with an edge of lace with my Martha Stewart Border Punch. I added in some pink and black polka dot flowers up the side of the bench and embellished with a metal heart from the Jewellry section of Michaels. The beautiful ribbon is Nicole Heady.

Sugar Bowl Challenge #11

Well I know I haven't posted for a week, and I'm very sorry to my friends for being preoccupied. I was busy helping a friend move, and have been swamped with the wifey do list. I have many images colored, just haven't had the time to go down and lock myself in the inspiration room. So here's my Sugar Bowl Challenge for the week. The image is Sugar Nellie's Demure. I think she is so wispfull. She reminds me of my Precious Moments Collection. Unfortunately I was late in sending out my challenge. It was done last night. Note to self.... Check entry times more carefully. Well I hope you my friends enjoy it anyway.
