Just Magnolia - Easter Baskets
e
n
Just Magnolia this week is looking for an Easter basket filled with Easter candies. They have a tutorial on their blog, but you don't have to follow it. I chose to use my Stamping Up die cut and cut it out 4 times. You then put the papers into a square and weave the bottoms together, and voila, a basket base. All you need to do is measure the size of handle you would like and cut it out. I used 2 Martha Stewart boarder punches for this basket. I used the arched one for the handle, and I also used Martha's bunny boarder punch from last Easter. I cut that out of matching pink cardstock and mounted it around the base of the basket. I used Imaginisce paper line called For Peeps Sake. This also was available last year, but had so many different matching pieces. (Guess who bought 2 of each??) I used my Tilda with Tulips and my Tilda with Lilacs, both of my favorite flowers. How soon it will be and they will be in full bloom in my gardens. I can't wait. I colored my Tilda's with my Copics. You'll notice the little visitor to my copic picture. It was so cute I decided to leave it on. I added 4 Papertrey ribbon bows, one to each corner of the basket. I filled it with eggs. Now don't worry dear friends, tomorrow is weigh in day at Jenny Craig, I didn't cheat. The eggs got bagged up and put in my kids lunches for school. Hope everyone's week started off well.
Hugs xx
